Calgon, take me away!!!! Okay, some of you may be too young to get it, but the jest is…I need a break, to escape and getaway! The commercial, which first aired back in the 1070's, may just be how we are feeling today in 2020 with COVID-19, quarantines, virtual work, school, and even social events. A lot of us can no longer use the term, work from home, we now live from work.
We all need a break and to just getaway! The question is, where? Sure you can pack up the car and go but sometimes that is more work then rest, so where can Americans go right now to truly get away and escape? Here is where you can go now!! Oh and just for fun, I've linked the video to that infamous commercial at the bottom.
Our number one pick for where to go now is Mexico. Mexico currently has one of the least restrictive entry requirements. For American's to enter, all that is needed is (enter details) So pack your bags and head to Cancun and in no time you will be basking in the Mexican Caribbean sun. Or fly into XX and you will be enjoying the Pacific side (enter more descriptive details).
While some destinations have stricter entry guidelines than others, choosing an All-Inclusive Resort for your upcoming vacation is just perfect. There are so many great reasons why an all-inclusive vacation was perfect pre-COVID by now there so many added reasons why you should go.
For starters, you won't have to worry about venturing off property and being even more at risk of exposure to the pesky virus. While staying at an all-inclusive resort, you'll have entertainment, great dining, water sports, the pool, and in most cases…pools and so much more. You can plan a day on the water and have adventures like snorkeling and scuba diving, kayaking, jet-skiing, fishing, and more. Golf lovers have plenty of options as well and often time can play a round at sister properties as well. And speaking of sister properties, many of the all-inclusive resorts have them which means you can stay explore other resorts during your stay as well.
You can rest assure that the all-inclusive resorts are going above and beyond to welcome guests in the cleanest, healthiest environment as possible. Take Sandals and Beaches Resorts, for example, they have their Platinum Protocol of Cleanliness (enter details). And Karisma Hotels and Resorts are to doing things like (enter details). To see just what measures these resorts and others are taking to keep you safe, I've included a video of what Sandals Resorts are doing for you!
When choosing where to call home for your next vacation, it's important to make sure you fully understand the entry requirements for the destination you are visiting. Some require a COVID negative withing a certain time frame prior to arrival and others a simple health questionnaire and thermal temperature scan as described for Mexico.
It is also important to make sure the resort is following and exceeding the latest health protocols. Find yourself a great travel advisor (cough, cough) to help you weed through all of the options out there and help you choose a location that meets and exceeds your expectations. A great travel advisor will also be there for you every step of the way and make sure you know the new protocols for entering and exiting your travel destinations. In today's world, a Travel Advisor is a must!!
I know traveling right now may seem daunting but those who have already ventured out into the world are happy they did and have found that even though it's a different experience, it still allows a way to escape, rest, relax and recharge…and you won't even need to search for that bottle of Calgon. Although, can you imagine taking a Calgon bath in an oversized jacuzzi tub with a view of the turquoise waters of the Caribbean…pure bliss! And yes, Calgon still does exist…I looked it up!
As promised, here are the videos I promised.
